It’s a beastly laptop, for sure.
Before I upgraded, I had the Alienware Area 51 M15x. I had to replace it in less than a year because the case snapped in half. Cheap built computer…I really like the XPS M1730. Could probably compare to my M17x. We’ll see.

Well even with all the settings maxed this is cheaper than the alinware m17x, but the alienware gives you bragging rights, I mean, it is an alienware..

nice, got mine on thursday, 9800Gt sli, 2.5ghz duo and 6gb RAM, really powerful laptop, can play fallout 3 on ultra setting =), but dont get your hopes up too much that you will get it before 27th, mine got delayed twice, took a month and 2 weeks to get to me, well thats if ur from uk, otherwise u should be fine.

upgraded the video card to dual 9800GT 512mb so really gonna have the edge^^
nice proccessor tho, could only afford the dual core @2.4

Light colours can be changed in speaker grills and touchpad.
The light on the top lid is white – it cannot be changed. Instead you purchase a coloured top panel, rather then a coloured light.

This notebook is pretty expensive in my country, over 2000 usd. I will buy it from manufacturer for low.
