there a socket P and socket M for laptops so it dose matter on the type you got

no you dont need to change the OS

it is possible just make sure you get the same FSB mobile processor

t6400 can be changed to any other 800mhz fsb mobile processor but its expencive because its like 300 USD for like a 0.5ghz difference. if you get what i mean. and if the ram is expandable to 4gb thats the max you can have

thermal paste is so you eliminate air (which is an isolator) to have better heat transfer to the heat sink making the cpu cooler

you cant change the gpu its built on to the mobo

My heart was pumping fast when you removed the heatsink and saw the CPUs. You’ve gotta have a nerve. Even though you know what you’re doing, doing it yourself is like operating your own child. Really nice TUT. 5*

You should never leave the old thermal paste on the cpu and gpu.. wipe it off with isopropyl alcohol..

hi i have a toshiba t6400 c2d and i was wondering if i could change it to a better porcessor because the t6400 doesnt support vt. it runs at 2.0 ghz , with 800mhz front bus and only expandable to 4 gb. is it possible to increase the amount of rams to 8 and other stuff? is there a retaili stores that can the processors like geeksquad or something?

AMD and Intel CPU’s cant be used in the same computer. If it’s a AMD then all you can use is AMD

Does anyone know what particular CPU’s are supported by the M1530 ? Far as i know, it is only Intel CPU’s with an 800Mhz FSB.
